WHY EDUCATE A GIRL CHILD

WHY EDUCATE A GIRL CHILD?

importance of girl child education
and the benefits of Educating a girl child
especially in a developing country like Nigeria
the overwhelming benefits of educating a girl child is far beyond the classroom.

The impact of giving a girl in a developing country a quality education can be felt in families, communities, and future generations.
You know its not only on education but educate them on personal hygiene too.
According to Innocent ekele Project manager of PAYSOD he sees "Educating a Girl Child in a developing Country simply as bringing that country to a motherly care of no return, that country will experience great development with immediately alacrity, there will be no embezzlement of funds, even the nations will be afraid of them if they held political position because they can be so instrumental to every national development and also fight against corruption."
Some points were given by members of Pan-African Youth for Societal Development (PAYSOD) on why we educate a Girl Child :
1.it Lower Maternal and Child Mortality Rates – Girls who receive an education are less likely to contract HIV & AIDS, and thus, less likely to pass it onto their children.
2.Improves health and nutrition
3. It makes a girl feel more important and equal in the society - Francis (Member of Paysod)
4.decreases Child marriage – in some cases involving girls as young as 6 or 8 – almost always results in the end of a girl’s schooling. The result is illiterate or barely literate young mothers without adequate tools to build healthy, educated families. On average, for every year a girl stays in school past fifth grade, her marriage is delayed a year.
Educated girls typically marry later, when they are better able to bear and care for their children.
Many More, But how could this be achieved????
Quality and a Good Education to your child is very very important in Nigeria for you to Survive in Future.
Remember ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”Future Educated Generations – An African proverb says, “If we educate a boy, we educate one person. If we educate a girl, we educate a family – and a whole nation.”๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜œ

Our Quote of the day : Girl child education is important in this nation because of the high mortality rate of women in nigeria. Girls are more interested in education than the male but due to financial constraints they are sent to hawk but if they are educated they will not only bring about development in the country but they will also fight for the rights of the young populace to be given a chance to go to school when they have tasted the fruit of their hardwork- Umar Farouq Talba From Paysod

Supporting Girl Child Education is our PRIORITY
SAY NO TO CHILD STREET HAWKING
SAY NO TO CHILD ABUSE
Thank you all for your contributions
