What is drug abuse???
Drug Abuse is Habit or Process of taking illegal Drugs - Fareed Kamal Ibrahim
Drug abuse can be defined as any form of drug over dose, taking of drugs without Doctor prescription so to some extent most of us are guilty of Drug abuse - Yusuf Anka
 Drug abuse is a generic term for the abuse of any drug, which may includes alcohol and cigarettes - Ilham Galadeema
Well to me drug Abuse simply means indiscriminate or inappropriate use of drugs without medical prescription👌- Bushra Ibrahim
Lastly Drug abuse also is the Hazardous consumption of substances that can be harmful, also when you take illicit drugs.

What are the Causes of Drug Abuse?????

  The cause of drug abuse is not fully known but likely include genetic predisposition, co-occurring conditions and environmental circumstances.
1.Most Drug related cases are associated to failure of family values!
2.Sometimes the cause of drug abuse comes from mental illness called "Bipolar disorder"
3.Parental abuse and neglect are commonly seen as part of the cause of drug abuse.(A poor relationship with parents)
4.Use of drugs by friends / peers (Bad Friends)



What are the Possible solutions on Drug Abuse ???
How can we Eradicate Drug Abuse in Our Community???
1.The Government should raise the stakes of the war against illicit drug business by embarking on a sustained public enlightenment campaign using bill boards, radio/TV jingles, fliers, banners, pamphlets etc.
2.Parents should Effectively deal with peer pressure. The biggest reason teens start using drugs is because their friends utilize peer pressure.
3.Keep a well-balanced life-People take up drugs when something in their life is not working, or when they’re unhappy about their lives or where their lives are going. Look at life’s big picture, and have priorities in order.
4.Seek help for mental illness. Mental illness and substance abuse often go hand-in-hand. Those with a mental illness may turn to drugs as a way to ease the pain. Those suffering from some form of mental illness, such as anxiety, depression or post-traumatic stress disorder should seek the help of a trained professional for treatment before it leads to substance abuse.
