PAYSOD TALKS: EDUCATE THE GIRL CHILD
EDUCATE THE GIRL CHILD
To The West,
It's no doubt weird of society, piety, and every other of life's deciding factor to begin to define to people what they are, or who they should be. The girl child is expected by all and sundry to be a a star shining forth from her family to the society at large; a girl child is expected to be a loving and a caring wife, submissive to her husband [one in which as a lot theoretical knowledge of being a bread winner, but lacks the practical reality of keeping a queen]; a girl is expected to be a good mother to her kids, bringing them up in line with standards already set, but in all of these, little or no mechanism is put in place to ensure be it formally or informally the girl child is educated. She's just told to follow religion, follow tradition, follow the rules, just to follow everything except her heart. How can a girl shine without knowledge? How can a girl transform into a wife without knowledge? How can a girl become a mother without knowledge? Society, religion, and tradition should please shut up and stop coming up with standards without corresponding mechanism that would transmit to the girl child knowledge of such standards. The girls are no less deserving of better education than the boys. Educate them today, as the bulk of transmitting informal education[raising up children] lies on them. This is a pathway to a better society...
